GIPUZKOA PROVINCIAL COUNCIL VISITS ERREKA’S STRATEGIC PROJECTS IN BERGARA

A delegation from the Gipuzkoa Provincial Council has visited Erreka’s facilities in Bergara as part of activities organised by the Fastening Excellence Center (FEX). The meeting provided an opportunity to present the cooperative’s industrial activity and main projects.

Representatives from the Provincial Council, FEX, Bergara Town Council and Erreka took part in the visit. The company outlined the three pillars of its 2025–2028 strategic plan: organisation, growth and profitability.

The delegation also reviewed solutions developed by Erreka Smart Fastening, including Erreka Digital Bolt. This technology measures the load in bolted joints and supports monitoring throughout the service life of an installation.

The visit also covered the company’s involvement in international applications, including the supply of fastening solutions for the DUNE scientific experiment in the United States.

The meeting provided a framework for reviewing Erreka’s technology capabilities and its growth areas in bolted joints and the monitoring of critical applications.
