23 April, 2025Ecenarro has launched a growth plan that includes an investment of €7 million in its plants in Bergara and Celaya, Mexico. In Bergara, the cooperative has expanded its facilities by 2,000 square metres and added new production equipment.
The company processes around 8,000 tonnes of steel each year and manufactures 62 million parts, mainly for the automotive sector using cold forming. Among other objectives, the new equipment is intended to support annual production of 20 million automotive safety components.
International business represents a significant share of its operations. Around 80% of production from Bergara is exported, mainly to Europe and the United States, while the Celaya plant also supplies part of its output to the US market.
Ecenarro employs 105 professionals, 70 of whom are cooperative members, and allocates 3.5% of its annual sales to research. These resources support new product development, material testing and improvements to production processes.
The cooperative has also renewed its corporate website. Available in several languages, it is aimed particularly at purchasing, quality and engineering professionals and includes technical content on cold forming, application cases and a quarterly newsletter.
